1. Kits!

Start small, but with variety!

Always start small! There are so many different bedazzling kits to choose from. I suggest the following below:

1. Make sure your kit comes with starting tools!

These include a wax pencil, tweezers, gem tray, etc

2. Make sure it comes with a good glue adhesive!

More is explained in Glue Guide!

3. Have Variety!

I recommend a 24-pack kit. These packs start you off with a good selection of colors to experiment with, along with solid tools!

2. Canvas 101

Spark inspo with hundreds of ideas!

Having trouble finding a place to start? You can start anywhere! I recommend starting by bedazzling items, as I find it easier to work with than blank-slate canvases.

"What item should I start with?" Absolutely anything! If you're stuck on finding some inspiration, Pinterest is a great place to find some unique ideas! I find Pinterest very helpful when I get stuck on what to bedazzle next. There are so many different creations from different creators who are on their bedazzling journey too!

3. Glue Guide!

All you need to know about adhesive!

Having an amazing, durable, and tacky glue adhesive for your designs is crucial for gem work. We don't want our gems to slide or come off easily!

I recommend B-7000 glue. This glue is more on the runny side, but it stays tacky. This glue also dries quickly and has strong durability for great longevity for your creations! Here are a couple of tips below:

1. Less is more!

From previous experience, using small amounts of this glue

will always do the trick! Applying a small amount and spreading it around where needed works wonders! Saves so much glue for more creations!

2. Dry Time

Even though this glue dries down quickly, I recommend letting finished products sit untouched for an extra 30 minutes after bedazzling. This allows the glue to fully set in place and strengthen durability.
